• “I was drunk as hell. Just got hammered, went to the store, got some red, white and blue paint and stood in the parking lot on the hood and drew it. You can see my boot marks, I think, somewhere. There’s fifty one stars on there. I put one for Puerto Rico for some reason - I figured I’d just throw it on there. Its painted backwards the same way that, like, ‘Ambulance’ would be written, so in the rear view mirror this would be the right way. Everyone said, “It looks cool, but you gotta put the stars on the right side”, and I was like, “fuck it, I’m leaving it the way it is!”
“September 11th, that’s what caused me to do it. That flag represents freedom - freedom to be less of a slave than I would perhaps be in other situations and other countries. Everyone loves this car, even though it’s a little shitty. People honk. I’ve driven it for three years. The thing runs great, runs like a champ. Its a Buick Skylark ‘71. I used to live in this car at JFK Airport for four months”.

“Truckin’s my main gig. I drive a truck around the five-state area - Massachusetts, New York State, Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania. I always keep a weapon around me. - I figure if some terrorist is gonna hijack a truck or some shit, I’m gonna stab ‘em in the neck first.”
